Job Summary:

Drive growth in document-based software offerings through multiple sales teams.  Provide trainings and demonstrations to sales teams to effectively prospect and uncover opportunities as well as directly support them on pre-sales appointments and calls.  Through growth in these offerings, will also develop a direct team of software specialists to support the multiple regions and their direct sales teams.  Provide teams with support and leadership to sell new and existing customers to achieve assigned quota.

Essential Functions:

  1. Coordinate weekly meetings with Sales Managers to review activity and facilitate development and future trainings
  2. Meet periodically with Sales Representatives to review software pipeline and to coach on software offerings
  3. Develop and maintain business relationships with current software partners
  4. Keep up to date of industry trends and explore other software providers and evaluate offerings
  5. Recruit, hire, train and manage a software support team
  6. Respond to daily questions and concerns regarding job-related duties
  7. Assist representatives with creating strategic and competitive sales solutions
  8. Determine and approve price schedules and discount rates
  9. Attend appointments with representatives to provide guidance, support, and information
  10. Track and monitor sales team software performance to ensure that goals are met
  11. Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability
  12. Conduct or arrange ongoing training in sales effectiveness, product knowledge, and industry trends
  13. Listen to and resolve customer questions and complaints regarding services, products, or personnel
  14. Provide training to new and existing representatives
  15. Strategize with representatives on various software sales opportunities
  16. Development of Statements of Work for various types of opportunities
  17. Involvement in coordination of post-sale implementations
  18. Motivate representatives to attain personal and professional goals
  19. Market office technology and attain individual quotas

Required Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

  1. Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services;  including       marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
  2. Customer and personal service; includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  3. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human       resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
  4. Professional presentation and organizational skills
  5. Software and/or networking experience and familiarity
  6. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  7. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  8. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  9. Strong work ethic; consistently exceeds expectations and manages obstacles to achieve business results
  10. Team player; works with others to achieve shared objectives and accountability

Required Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree
  2. 5+ years of business to business software/IT services sales experience preferred
  3. 3+ years of successful management experience
