Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Owings Mills, MD

Job Summary:

Manage all accounts payable duties.  Maintain accurate payables for proper recordkeeping. 

Essential Functions:

  1. Process accounts payable by accurately entering invoices into e-automate, obtaining proper signatures/approvals, matching inventory invoices to receipts, matching payments and verifying important information
  2. Verify invoice accuracy for mathematical calculations and accurate charges
  3. Code expense invoices accurately for financial accounting  
  4. Scan/Archive invoices in accounts payable as processed in the workflow
  5. Review vendor statements for timeliness and accurate payments
  6. Resolve any issues that arise throughout the A/P process

Required Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

  1. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
  2. Attention to detail
  3. Strong communication skills
  4. Ability to multi-task
  5. Professional demeanor

Required Education and Experience:

  1. High school diploma
  2. 2-3 years of accounting or payables experience
